DayOne Data Centers announced its modular delivery model supports NVIDIA's new DSX POD reference design. The partnership aims to accelerate AI factory deployment by standardizing power, cooling, and compute integration across global markets.
DayOne Data Centers Limited, a Singapore-headquartered global digital infrastructure platform, has announced that its proprietary integrated delivery model will support the NVIDIA DSX POD reference design. The move aligns DayOne’s strategy of accelerating data center deployment through standardized design, integrated delivery, and modular infrastructure solutions that can be replicated consistently across its markets in Asia Pacific and Europe.
The NVIDIA DSX POD was introduced on October 21, 2026, at GTC Berlin as a reference design for complete Vera Rubin AI factories. According to NVIDIA, the system is built within modular containers and is integrated and validated before delivery. The company claims this approach can reduce deployment time at prepared sites from six months to as little as 14 days, allowing customers to begin generating production tokens sooner.
DayOne employs a standardized approach to data center development that includes the modular prefabrication of power, cooling, and base build systems. By bringing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure work into controlled factory environments, the company states it can shorten development timelines. DayOne reports that it can deliver data center projects in eight to twelve months in Southeast Asia, a timeframe that supports the rapid scaling required for AI infrastructure.
Charlie Boyle, Vice President of DGX Systems at NVIDIA, noted that the DSX POD reference design helps align compute, power, and cooling for faster deployment. He stated that DayOne’s support for this design, combined with its modular infrastructure capabilities, can help customers bring capacity online sooner. Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, emphasized that an AI factory creates value when it starts producing tokens, not when construction is complete.
DayOne operates in ten markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong SAR, Finland, and Spain. The company’s CEO, Jamie Khoo, described prefabrication and modularization as key to delivering infrastructure at the pace required by the AI era. DayOne is part of a broader partner ecosystem for the DSX POD that includes Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv, with worldwide partner deliveries planned for early 2027.
