Tiger Brokers Singapore has been named Best Retail Broker at the SIAS Investors' Choice Awards 2026. The recognition highlights its service to retail investors amid Singapore's push for greater market participation.
Tiger Brokers (Singapore) Pte Ltd has been named Best Retail Broker in Singapore at the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) (SIAS) Investors' Choice Awards 2026. The award, which honours the brokerage that best serves retail investors in the country, was accepted by Ian Leong, CEO of Tiger Brokers Singapore, at a ceremony held on October 21 at the Orchard Hotel Singapore.
The recognition follows an evaluation of brokerage firms in Singapore conducted in collaboration with the Singapore Management University. According to SIAS, the Investors' Choice Awards are designed to recognise companies, brokerages, and individuals that uphold high standards of governance, transparency, and service to the investing community.
This latest accolade adds to a series of recent industry recognitions for the firm. Tiger Brokers has been identified as one of CNBC and Statista's World's Top Fintech Companies for the second consecutive year. Additionally, the platform was named Best Personal Investment Platform at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026 and was selected as Singapore's Top Fintech Company in the Wealth Technology category by Tech in Asia in both 2025 and 2026.
The award comes at a time when Singapore is placing increased emphasis on retail participation in its capital markets. Measures from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)-led Equities Market Review Group, which released its final report in November 2025, include steps to widen access for retail investors. Notably, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) has announced plans to reduce board lot sizes from 100 to 10 units for securities priced above S$10, a move intended to lower the barrier to entry for individual investors.
Tiger Brokers Singapore operates as an online brokerage licensed by the MAS. The company's continued recognition in the wealth technology sector underscores its role in the evolving landscape of Singapore's financial services industry, where digital platforms are increasingly central to investor engagement.
