Army’s Training Innovation Facility at Fort Leavenworth to Evaluate Technology and Inform Potential Large-Scale Acquisition Programs
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virtuix Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX), a leading developer of AI-driven, full-body simulation systems, today announced the sale of an Omni One system to the U.S. Army’s Combined Arms Center-Training Innovation Facility ("CAC-TIF”) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. CAC-TIF serves as an Army innovation facility focused on rapidly gathering soldier feedback and informing requirements for potential large-scale training and simulation acquisition programs.
The U.S. Army’s National Simulation Center ("NSC”), part of the Combined Arms Center, helps ensure the Army has the appropriate live and synthetic training capabilities, including for counter-unmanned aircraft systems ("c-UAS”). Through technology hubs such as CAC-TIF, the Army evaluates emerging, cost-effective technologies to inform future training capabilities and acquisition requirements.
"This sale is a significant milestone as we aim to advance Omni One to larger defense contracts and awards,” said Joe Nolan, retired U.S. Army Colonel and Virtuix’s Director of Federal Business Development. "CAC-TIF plays an important role in helping shape the Army’s future training requirements. Having Omni One evaluated in this environment by soldiers and decisionmakers creates a potential pathway toward much larger simulation programs across the Army and broader Department of War.”

The sale builds on Virtuix’s growing momentum across the U.S. defense sector, with programs and deployments spanning all four major branches of the U.S. military. Recent milestones include completion of a U.S. Air Force AFWERX SBIR Phase I program for its Virtual Terrain Walk platform; assignment as lead systems integrator for a four-person U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Fireteam Trainer; ongoing evaluation of its counter-UAS training system by the Marine Corps; and Omni One sales and deployments involving the U.S. Navy, Air National Guard, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Virtuix continues to expand its defense business through both organic growth and potential strategic acquisitions. The Company is evaluating an acquisition opportunity that, if completed, would provide established contract vehicles, past performance, customer relationships, and complementary capabilities that could further accelerate the Company’s ability to pursue larger defense contracts.
